This past Labor Day, my parents booked a weekend stay at the campgrounds along Carlsbad coast. I have been coming here since I was a baby, camping every summer, turning my sandy-blonde hair bright blonde, tanning, and playing in the waves. My home. My inspiration for my first tattoo.
